英語の翻訳家について
今日は、英語を身につけたら翻訳の道に歩きたいと思っている方も多いようです、『英語の翻訳家について』ご紹介しようと思います。
数ある、英語を使う仕事の中でも翻訳家は人気のある仕事のひとつです。
しかし英語を使う仕事の中でも地道な仕事で、英語力は当然の事ですが、それに加えて、日本語力も要求される仕事だと思います。
翻訳家と言っても様々で、主にビジネス分野で仕事をする実務翻訳(産業翻訳)と著作物を翻訳する文芸翻訳(出版翻訳)があり、その他にも映画やビデオ、DVDの翻訳をしたりする映像翻訳があります。
日本人が翻訳するときは、ほとんどの場合外国語である英語を母国語の日本語にする作業です。
実務翻訳の仕事をするのには、会社の社員として入社して、そこの社内翻訳者になったり、翻訳会社に入社したり、フリーで仕事をしたりという方法があります。
文芸翻訳は、通信や通学で翻訳を学んだり、コンクールに応募するという方法があります。
